SLP Breakfast at Ozzy's, $11
Knitting Needles, $3.22
2 Movie tickets and popcorn, $33
Total Spent, October 22-31: $155.74
Total Spent in Month of October: $922.65/$1,000
The month of October is over, and I've survived on less than $1,000. I didn't stick strictly to my budget, which I think is fine.
Indeed, this week I splurged quite a bit. A friend of mine was in town visiting, so we went to the movies ($33), ate out at Chipotle ($7) and traveled around a decent bit (gas: $24). I had a biweekly breakfast with some of the crew from the Sooner Launch Pad Summer Accelerator, which last time (week 2) was paid for by Price. No such luck this time. And the $5 pizza was a 3am snack after the clubs closed down on Campus Corner. To a hungry half-drunk, it was a $5 well spent.
Because I've been splitting expenses with my friend that's in town, I also got to go to the showing of Carrie: The Musical in Oklahoma City, which was a blast. A friend of mine was part of the production, and I know she had been hard at work preparing, so it was great to have the opportunity to support her.
All in all the end of the month came quickly, and I'm pleased that I stayed under budget!
